Our team knew that to compete in the UK beer market we had to source the finest ingredients and ensure the maximum taste. The lager was inspired by the sights and flavours of Rio’s favelas.
COMPARABLE BEERS
Madri was introduced to the UK in 2020 and is inspired by the Madrid region of Spain. The beer is now in over 7500 bars and pubs, and has nearly double the distribution of Becks and Neck Oil.

Tom launched international beer brand, Skinny Lager in 2015 aged just 26, and since then the brand has gone from strength to strength both domestically and globally. His experience in launching a successful new beer brand and his extensive network of contacts will be invaluable for Favela.
Mark has worked at director level for both Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, as first the Supply Chain Director and then the Commercial Director, where he ran the Beer, Wines and Spirits teams. Mark’s main role at Favela is to assist the founders to create a business of scale with a new and distinctive brand of quality.
